In these Terms, “Britholiday”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to BRITHOLIDAY LTD. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or making or managing a booking.
2. Scope of Our Services
Britholiday currently facilitates hotel accommodation bookings. We may provide information about hotels, room types, rates, availability, facilities and booking conditions and assist customers in making reservations.
Depending on the specific booking, the accommodation may be supplied by a hotel, accommodation provider, wholesaler, travel supplier or another third party. We may use third-party booking systems and suppliers, including TBO and Expedia, where applicable to the booking.
Unless expressly stated in your booking confirmation, Britholiday is not the hotel owner or accommodation provider. The hotel or other identified supplier is responsible for providing the accommodation and its on-site services.
Any flight, cruise, package holiday or other travel service displayed on our website but not currently available for booking is for informational or future-use purposes only. You must not rely on such a display as confirmation that the service is available for purchase.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing our website, submitting a booking enquiry or making a reservation through us, you agree to these Terms, together with the relevant booking confirmation, supplier terms, cancellation conditions and any other terms specifically disclosed to you before you complete your booking.
Please read all applicable terms carefully before paying or confirming a reservation. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our booking services.
Where a particular supplier's terms apply to your reservation, those terms will be disclosed or made available to you before booking where reasonably practicable. If there is a conflict, the terms specifically governing your confirmed reservation will apply to that reservation to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UK law.
4. Booking Enquiries and Reservations
A request, enquiry, quote or displayed price does not itself constitute a confirmed reservation.
The booking process may involve checking availability, reconfirming the rate, verifying guest details, obtaining payment and receiving confirmation from the relevant supplier.
A reservation is confirmed only when the booking has been accepted by the relevant supplier and we have issued or communicated a booking confirmation identifying the reservation, subject to any conditions stated in that confirmation.
You are responsible for reviewing the confirmation promptly and contacting us if any details are incorrect or missing.
We may decline or be unable to complete a request where, for example, the requested accommodation is unavailable, a supplier rejects the booking, payment is not authorised, required information is missing or a suspected fraudulent transaction requires investigation. If payment has been taken for a booking that cannot be confirmed, we will arrange the appropriate refund in accordance with applicable law and the payment circumstances.
5. Prices, Taxes and Additional Charges
Prices shown on our website may be indicative and may change until the supplier confirms the reservation. Availability, room types, occupancy, taxes, exchange rates and supplier pricing may affect the final amount.
Before you commit to a booking, we will provide the applicable total price and identify known mandatory taxes, fees and charges, or explain where a charge is payable directly to the accommodation provider and cannot be calculated in advance.
Optional extras, meals, parking, resort or destination fees, security deposits, additional guest charges and other property-specific charges may apply. Where information is supplied to us, we will communicate it before booking. You should also review the hotel's conditions and confirmation.
We will not knowingly misrepresent an indicative price as a guaranteed final price. If a material price change occurs before the reservation is confirmed, we will seek your agreement to the revised price before proceeding.
6. Payments
Payment arrangements depend on the booking and the supplier's requirements. The amount due, payment deadline, accepted payment methods, currency and any deposit or balance arrangements will be communicated during the booking process or in the booking confirmation.
Depending on the arrangement, payment may be processed by Britholiday, a payment service provider or the relevant accommodation supplier. Your confirmation or payment instructions should identify the applicable arrangement.
You must provide accurate payment information and be authorised to use the payment method supplied. We may use payment verification, fraud prevention and security checks where appropriate.
If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed or not received by the required deadline, the supplier may refuse, cancel or release the reservation in accordance with its applicable terms and the law. We will communicate any relevant information available to us.
🔒 We will not request your full payment-card security code by ordinary email. Do not send complete card details or security codes in an unsecured message.
7. Your Responsibilities
When making a reservation, you must:
- Provide accurate guest names and contact details.
- Check dates, destination, room type, occupancy, meal arrangements and other booking details before confirming.
- Ensure that the accommodation is suitable for the needs of all guests.
- Read the hotel's policies, including check-in and check-out times, age restrictions, identification requirements, deposit conditions and any property rules.
- Ensure that guests meet any minimum-age or other eligibility requirements.
- Notify us promptly if you identify an error in your booking confirmation.
- Comply with the accommodation provider's reasonable rules and applicable laws during your stay.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided for every guest is accurate and that the booking meets your requirements.
8. Changes, Amendments and Cancellations
Changes and cancellations are subject to the conditions applicable to your particular reservation. Some bookings may be refundable, partially refundable or non-refundable. Certain changes may not be permitted or may require a new reservation.
If you wish to change or cancel a booking, contact us using the contact details in this document and provide your booking reference. A request is not effective merely because you have sent it; you should obtain acknowledgement or confirmation of the change or cancellation.
Supplier cancellation deadlines are often based on the property's local time. You are responsible for observing the deadline stated in your confirmation.
Any cancellation charge, amendment fee, supplier penalty or refund entitlement will be determined by the conditions disclosed for your reservation and applicable law. We will not impose a separate Britholiday service fee unless it was clearly disclosed to you before you agreed to pay it.
If a booking is non-refundable, this will be disclosed before you commit to the reservation. A non-refundable condition does not remove any statutory rights that apply where a supplier or intermediary is legally responsible for a failure.
9. Hotel Facilities and Special Requests
Hotel descriptions, photographs, facilities, ratings, room descriptions and other property information are based on information provided by accommodation providers or other sources. We take reasonable care when presenting this information but cannot guarantee that every facility or feature will be available throughout your stay.
Special requests, including connecting rooms, specific bed arrangements, early check-in, late check-out, accessibility arrangements, dietary requests and particular room locations, are subject to the hotel's confirmation and availability unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
You should contact the property or us in advance if a particular facility or accessibility arrangement is essential to your stay.
10. Overbooking, Property Changes and Disruption
On occasion, a hotel or supplier may be unable to provide the booked accommodation because of overbooking, closure, operational problems or other circumstances.
If we receive notice of a material change affecting your reservation, we will communicate the information available to us and assist with the next steps within the scope of our role.
Any alternative accommodation, refund, compensation or other remedy will depend on the booking terms, the party responsible for the problem and applicable law. We will not represent that a particular remedy is guaranteed unless it is supported by those terms or the law.
11. Our Role and Responsibility
Our role is to facilitate hotel reservations and communicate relevant booking information. The identity of the party responsible for providing the accommodation and the terms of the arrangement will depend on the particular booking and the confirmation issued.
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our own services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for our own breach of contract, negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where accommodation is supplied by an independent third party, that supplier is responsible for delivering its accommodation and facilities in accordance with its obligations. This does not remove any responsibility Britholiday may have under the contract or applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for matters outside our reasonable control or for an independent supplier's acts or omissions where we are not legally responsible for them. This provision does not exclude any rights or remedies available to you under consumer law.
12. Website Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and available. However, online prices, content, availability and supplier information may change, and technical interruptions may occur.
We may update, suspend or remove website content or functionality where necessary for operational, legal, security or supplier-related reasons. We will not use a website change to remove rights that you already have under a confirmed booking or applicable law.
You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
13. Privacy and Cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used and how you can manage your preferences.
Please read these policies before submitting personal information through the website.

15. Consumer Rights and Dispute Resolution
These Terms do not affect any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws applicable to your transaction.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve it. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may have the right to seek advice from a consumer advice service or pursue a claim through a court or another competent body.
We will identify any applicable alternative dispute resolution process where required by law. We do not promise participation in a particular scheme unless we are legally required to participate or have expressly agreed to do so.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
If you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory rights or rules that apply in your place of residence.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business operations, supplier arrangements or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this website with a revised “Last updated” date.
The terms applicable to a confirmed reservation will be determined by the terms agreed for that reservation and any mandatory legal requirements.
